Hey, I'm John!
I live in the city of waterfalls, aka Hamilton Ontario!
I'm an automotive technologist, graduated from McMaster University and have a technical background in robotics and automotive industries.
As long as I can remember I've loved being outside, playing with cars, and taking photos, all of which were fuelled by my family. My photography started out as snapshots with point and shoot cameras on trips and family parties and my focus for years was on landscapes, sunsets and waterfalls.
I had some unique opportunities to photograph exclusive new vehicles back in 2020, reigniting a forgotten love for photography and pushing me to learn more of the technical aspects and grow my creativity with a camera. I snowballed from there to capture more wildlife, macro, products and unexpectedly portraits.
So what?
While I have an extensive technical background, I also enjoy capturing beautiful scenes and moments and sharing those experiences with others through my images. I am currently freelancing as a session photographer and working with a Hamilton company capturing weddings and engagements.
